DEF LEPPARD Bassist's Stage Clothing To Be Auctioned; Photos Available

DEF LEPPARD bassist Rick Savage is auctioning stage clothes for charity. Starting this Thursday (December 13),one item will be auctioned every week and all proceeds will go to The Sheffield Children's Hospital and Help A Hallam Child (Rick's own choice of charities),among other charities.

DEF LEPPARD has been confirmed for the Classic Rock Festival, set to take place May 12-14, 2008 in Sandnes, Norway.

DEF LEPPARD's May 21, 2008 performance at the Classic Rock Festival will mark the band's first appearance in Norway since 1996. Other European dates are expected to be announced soon.

DEF LEPPARD's upcoming record will be called "Songs from the Sparkle Lounge", but no release date has been set for it. It will be their first album since last year's "Yeah!", which was a collection of covers of songs by artists who had influenced the band. Their most recent studio album of original material was 2002's "X".
